    Our client is a family-run and owned waste management business based in Bolton, with a depot in Euxton, Chorley. They are the fastest-growing waste business in the North West, equipped with the most modern fleet of vehicles in the region. Their goal is to provide a first-class waste management service to clients, utilizing cutting-edge innovations combined with extensive experience.

    Job Description:

    As a Business Development Manager, you will contribute to the sales growth of the North West’s most innovative waste management company. You will help customers across the North West reduce their waste costs and increase their recycling rates.

    They offer a wide range of bespoke waste solutions, accompanied by a high standard of service. Your role will be to introduce these services to potential new customers. As a Business Development Manager, you will build your own pipeline of potential new customers with a set target for conversions. You will play a crucial role in the growth of the business by acquiring new clients and ensuring a smooth transition from another service provider, with a strong focus on customer experience. Your work will be focused on specific postcode areas to optimize waste collection efficiency.

    Requirements (Experience and Qualifications):

    • Experience in selling items, products, or services (Waste industry experience is preferred but not required).
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Computer literate.
    • Preferably, sound knowledge of the waste industry, regulations, and the market as a whole.
    • The ability to manage your own timetable and meet deadlines.
