    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Head of Design to lead our creative team. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong design background, capable of driving the creative direction of our agency while ensuring the highest quality of work. As the Head of Design, you will be responsible for overseeing all design projects, mentoring a team of designers, and collaborating closely with other departments to deliver outstanding digital experiences for our clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Creative Leadership:

      • Set the creative vision and direction for the design team, ensuring alignment with the agency’s goals and client needs.
      • Oversee the development of design concepts, campaigns, and visual identities across all digital platforms.
      • Lead brainstorming sessions, provide constructive feedback, and inspire the team to produce innovative and effective design solutions.
    2. Team Management:

      • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of designers, including UI/UX designers, graphic designers, and visual artists.
      • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, learning, and growth.
      • Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and support the professional development of team members.
    3. Project Oversight:

      • Oversee the design process from concept to delivery, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
      • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
      • Maintain consistency in branding and design across all client work and agency outputs.
    4. Client Collaboration:

      • Work closely with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and brand positioning.
      • Present design concepts and solutions to clients, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions.
      • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction with the creative process and final deliverables.
    5. Innovation and Trends:

      • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital design.
      • Introduce new tools, techniques, and processes to improve efficiency and creativity within the team.
      • Experiment with new ideas and encourage the team to push the boundaries of digital design.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across different digital platforms.
    • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of designers.
    • Expert knowledge of design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and other relevant tools.
    • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and web/mobile design standards.
    • Experience with Conversion Rate Optimisation. 
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to both internal teams and clients.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • A strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions.
