Job Title: Junior Designer

Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits

Working hours: 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

We are recruiting for a digital agency that specialises in delivering innovative solutions to their clients. They are currently seeking a Junior Designer to join the team and assist in creating visually stunning digital designs.

As a Junior Designer, you will work closely with the design team to create and deliver high-quality design assets that meet the needs of clients. You will be responsible for supporting the team in the creation of design concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes for web pages, mobile applications, and other digital media.

In addition to your design responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure designs are delivered on time and meet project requirements.

They are looking for a creative individual who is passionate about design and has strong attention to detail. You should have experience in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch. Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, and CSS is a plus.

They offer flexible working arrangements. The office is based in Bolton, Greater Manchester, with easy access to public transport.

Responsibilities:

As a junior designer for a digital agency, your main role is to assist the design team in creating compelling visual designs for digital media. Some of your responsibilities may include:

1. Collaborating with the design team to create concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes for web pages, mobile applications, and other digital media.
2. Conduct research on design trends, user experience, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
3. Assisting in the production of design assets, such as icons, logos, and graphics.
4. Creating wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to communicate design concepts.
5. Participating in design reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve designs.
6. Assisting in the creation and management of design documentation, including style guides and design specs.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure designs are delivered on time and meet project requirements.
8. Staying up-to-date with emerging design tools, techniques, and technologies, and sharing your knowledge with the team.
9. Develop your design skills through ongoing training and mentorship from senior designers.
